Heading for a cliff

It never stops

Nor tumbles past the edge

Hope rushes by

I reach

But it’s gone

I lift my eyes

To the heavens

In time to see the light

It gifts me the serenity

A moment of clear sight

I can feel the steam

Coming from the old train

As it rides like a coaster

Circling my dreams

I rattle the windows

Reaching below

Yelling

Screaming

For all to know

I will fly to the moon

And capture the stars

And move heaven above

To be where you are.

Take me to the place

Where life is whole

Give me that sweet taste

Of a beautiful soul
